GUAC! Yesss!! One of my favorite foods ever! Or is it even a food? I guess it’s more of a topping/dip. Okay, then it’s one of my favorite toppings/dips ever!!!
This pineapple mango guacamole is a fun spin on traditional guacamole and is great as a dip, a topping for tacos, or even on top of some nachos! I’m thinking this would be great on some paleo nachos with jerk chicken. I also love this as a side with a mild flavored white fish like mahi-mahi. 😍
This recipe couldn’t be easier. It takes about 5 minutes to make and is as simple as just mixing everything together. I like to make it easy on myself and just use frozen mango and pineapple for this recipe. Just thaw the fruit at room temperature a few hours before making the recipe. Obviously, you can also use fresh fruit, it will just take a little more time to prep the ingredients.
A few notes on the recipe: make sure to taste the jalapeño for spiciness before dicing it up. I usually just cut the top off and touch it (the top that will be discarded) to my tongue to see how spicy it is. If it’s really mild, I’ll remove the seeds but make sure to leave the white inner portion intact to get a little spice out of it. And if it’s super spicy, I’ll remove the seeds and the white portion, then dice up the pepper. The heat is in the white portion. Adjust it according to your desired level of spiciness. Also, once you finish the recipe, make sure to taste it and adjust the salt to your liking. I don’t like much salt in this particular guacamole since it’s supposed to taste sweet and fruity. But it’s your guac, so adjust to your taste preferences! You might think it tastes better with just a tad more salt in the mix.

Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/3 cup diced mango
- 1/3 cup diced pineapple
- 1/4 cup quartered cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 jalapeño minced (seeds/stem removed)
- 1/2 lime juiced (~2 tsp fresh lime juice)
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Remove avocado meat from skins and mash in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Taste and add more salt if desired.
- Enjoy!
