3-Ingredient Dough Gluten Free Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
- Gluten-Free
You read that right! Just 3 ingredients in the dough for these super delicious baked donuts!! OMG. I can barely believe how well these turned out! I was so skeptical, but they are truly heavenly. You’re going to love them!
3-Ingredient Dough Gluten Free Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
These cute little donuts are gluten free and can be made refined sugar free by using coconut or maple sugar in the cinnamon sugar blend! Want to try a different kind of donut? You’re in luck! These donuts can be easily customized to make powdered sugar donuts, glazed donuts, ones with chocolate frosting, or even a cream or jam filling!
These donuts are insanely easy to make, you just might end up making them weekly! The dough comes together in just a couple minutes and then you just roll them up, place in a donut pan, and you’re ready to bake. It honestly could not be easier. But don’t let the simplicity fool you. Oh, no. These donuts are right up there with some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Not kidding! Ever had a beignet? That’s what these remind me of! 😍
I hope you enjoy the recipe!

3-Ingredient Dough Gluten Free Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
- Gluten-Free
Ingredients
- 1 cup + 1 Tbsp 176g self-rising gluten free flour*
- 6 Tbsp 85g butter, softened
- ¾ cup 191g non-fat plain Greek yogurt**
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC). Grease and flour a standard donut pan.
- Mix flour and softened butter together using hands. Press and work into a dough to coat all of the flour in butter (this helps them rise).
- Add in yogurt and use a fork to mix and combine well.
- Split dough into 6 pieces, each weighing about 73g. Gently roll each piece into a rope about 7” long and place in donut pan. Gently press the ends together once in the pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until set and just starting to become golden around the edges. Allow to sit in pan for 5 minutes, then remove to a cooling rack.
- Once donuts are cooled completely, spray or rub lightly with oil or melted butter. Then roll in cinnamon sugar (I use 2 Tbsp maple sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon). Repeat with the remaining donuts.

I’m gonna try to Veganise them but even if they don’t turn out as fluffy I’m sure to love them 😄 thanks for today’s inspo!
Oh awesome! Would love to hear how they turn out! 🙂
This recipe is super easy and fun to make! As a mom of three kids, I need simple, quick and delish; and this recipe meets all of those criteria! In fact, I’ve already made them twice in one week that’s how easy and yummy this recipe is! I love how customizable the recipe is too! The second time I made chocolate dipped donuts as well as the cinnamon sugar and they were a huge hit!
So glad you all enjoyed it!! Thanks for taking the time to leave me a review!! 🙂
