These gluten free cheddar waffle biscuits are easy to throw together for a quick brunch, a side dish for dinner, and are perfect to freeze for busy weekday mornings!
Easy Gluten Free Cheddar Biscuits come together in no time!
They only have 3 ingredients and take less than 10 minutes to make. These yummy gluten free cheddar biscuits are gluten free, but can also be made with regular all-purpose flour if desired.

Recipe Tips and Tricks
For this recipe and others like it (ex: 2-Ingredient Gluten Free Biscuits) I like to use Chobani full fat Greek yogurt (with the red label). It makes the best baked goods and other yogurts don’t yield quite the same level of fluffiness. Highly recommended!
These waffle biscuits don’t tend to stick, but be sure to grease your waffle iron between batches, just in case.
I use chopsticks to remove the waffle biscuits from the waffle iron since they are easy to use and they won’t scratch the waffle iron! Remember, metal on waffle irons leads to micro scratches and then they can be prone to sticking, no matter the recipe.
I also used to live in Japan and they use chopsticks for all of their cooking! So handy! Give it a try and let me know what you think!

- Waffle iron (I’m OBSESSED with this one)
- Cheese grater
- Non-stick spray (I love this avocado oil spray)

Gluten Free Cheddar Waffle Biscuits (only 3 ingredients!)

Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten free self-rising flour
- 1 cup plain full fat Greek yogurt
- 1 cup shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Mix flour and yogurt together in a large bowl with a spoon (add 1/4 tsp garlic powder if you want some extra flavor).
- Add in cheese and squeeze/knead until a dough forms.
- Form into 8 balls.
- Grease waffle iron, allow to reheat, then add dough to the waffle iron. Close the top and hold for 10 seconds. Allow to cook for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Enjoy!
